Upazila agriculture officer (UAO) of Jhenaidah Sadar upazila Mofaqkharul Islam was promoted and transferred to Rajbari as the additional deputy director (ADD) of the plant protection (PP) wing of the department of agriculture extension (DAE).
Mofaqkharul Islam had handed over his responsibility to the Zahidul Karim, served as the UAO in Kaliganj.
Mofaqkharul Islam joined as the UAO at Jhenidah Sadar on July 2 of 2018 leaving Munjubnagar in Meherpur.
DAE Jheniadah deputy director office organised a farewell reception to Mofaqkharul Islam on Sunday where deputy director Kripnagshu Shekhar Biswas, seed certification officer Sankar Kumar Majumder, district training officer Dr. Khan Mohammad Maniruzzaman, ADD BK Halder and Mohammad Ali Zinnah, newly joined UAO Zahidul Karim, agriculture extension officers Rokanuzzaman and Junayeed Habib among others remain present.
In his speech, outgoing guest Mofaqkharul Islam said the people of Jhenidah are lucky enough to get the soil of best quality enriched with natural fertility where all types of crops are produced round the year.
