Faruque Hossain, when contacted, said that the environment is under threat when the felling of trees and occupation of water bodies was going on rampant. As protection of nature should be the responsibility in individual level as long as government level, people should take the responsibility in their locality to transplant local species of trees which will ensure fruits, timber as well as shade and oxygen for all. He had urged upon the people to come up with the initiative for a greener Bangladesh.
