Jhalokathi SP provides food for orphans, poor students

Police Superintendent Fatiha Yasmin provided quality food to 40 orphans and two residential students of Sarengal Fazil Madrasa in Jhalokati who were left helpless by the effects of coronavirus and Cyclone Amphan. These students could not go home as the madrasa was closed due to coronavirus.

On Thursday afternoon, the Superintendent of Police distributed food among the orphans and needy students while maintaining social distance at the grounds of Sarengal Fazil Madrasa. The orphans and helpless students were happy to get food from the police super. The food was distributed to the orphans and destitute children by the district police on the initiative of Superintendent of Police Fatiha Yasmin.

Additional Superintendent of Police (Crime and Administration) Md Habibullah, Additional Superintendent of Police (Headquarters) Kazi Md Shoaib, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) MM Mahmud Hasan, Sadar Police Officer in Charge (OC) Md Khalilur Rahman were present during the distribution.

Superintendent of Police Fatiha Yasmin said, “Besides providing security to the people, Jhalokati district police is also fulfilling its social responsibility every day.” The police superintendent also said that various assistance activities are going on every day at the initiative of the district police.
