Film maker Abu Raihan Jewel regularly makes dramas for the small screen. Four years ago, he last made the seven-episode serial drama 'Beauty Board' for Banglavision. After that he made TVC, OVC and documentaries but did not make any dramas.

After four years, Jewel is going to make a serial drama again. And this series is written by popular writer Anisul Haque.

About 26 episodes have already been written. Anisul Haque is writing a serial drama after 10 years through writing this serial. Director Jewel said that the shooting will start in October.

The name of the series is 'Manikjor'.

Regarding this, Abu Raihan Jewel said, “Two brothers come to Dhaka from the village, one is very smart and the other is quite slow on the uptake. The story goes on with these two people. The casting is yet to be finalised.

Hope visitors get something good. And I will try to make something better. It is yet to be finalized on which channel it will be aired, but the series was discussed with the late Mostafa Kamal Syed, the former head of NTV.

I can actually say about it after making. It will be produced by Master Communication. He is currently making a government-funded film. The name is 'Adventure of Sundarbans'. Pori Moni and Siam are acting in it. The shooting of the last lot will start next August.
