Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), in collaboration with Japan-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JBCCI), successfully organized an exclusive event introducing its cutting-edge online platform, Japan Street, to JBCCI members. The session was held at a city hotel on June 18, 2025.
Japan Street is a newly launched business matching service designed to connect global buyers with a wide array of importable Japanese products.
The platform, being introduced for the first time to Bangladeshi stakeholders, enables users to explore product catalogs, access detailed specifications (including MOQ, retail price in Japan, HS codes, certifications, and more), and request online business meetings directly with Japanese suppliers.
The event featured a comprehensive demonstration by the JETRO Japan Street team, who explained how to navigate the platform, search by category or Japanese prefecture, and leverage curated content such as “Recommendations by Japan Street Team” and “Special Theme” product groupings.
