Jaya Ahsan recently wrapped up the shooting for her upcoming project where she plays the role of the lover of Bangladeshi writer, thinker, novelist and poet Ahmed Sofa. Directed by Habibur Rahman, it is Bangladesh’s first 3D film titled ‘Alatchakra’.

Jaya will be seen as Tayeba in this 1971 Liberation War feature film, based on Sofa’s renowned autobiographical novel by the same name. The entire film is being shot in 3D in partnership with Skywork Studios from Mumbai. Jaya Ahsan had to complete the shoot for her entire role at one go, due to her busy schedule.

Acclaimed Bangladeshi actor Ahmed Rubel will be seen alongside Jaya playing the lead character of Daniel (Ahmed Sofa). Mamunur Rashid, Azad Abul Kalam, Shilpi Sarker Apu, Nusrat Jahan Joiri, Syed Mosharrof, and many others will be seen in other roles.

Coming back to Tollywood, the beautiful actor will next be seen in Atanu Ghosh directed ‘Bini Sutoy’ opposite Ritwick Chakraborty.
