Earlier, Jaya Ahsan and Prosenjit were seen together in a film called ‘Robibar’ directed by Atanu Ghosh. The Kolkata film was released in December last year. Later it was released in Bangladesh through SAFTA agreement. Viewers have shared their love for this pair in the film in both sides of the border.
The couple is acting together again in a new film on Sunday. This new film will show how much the corona situation has affected people’s minds. The film will be directed by Indradeep Dasgupta, India’s national award winning film director.
The name of the picture is ‘Ashato Ma Shadgamoy’.
Though the script of the film is the director’s own, the story will be arranged by Padmanabha Dasgupta.
It is learned that there will be a total of five characters in this film. The story of how human life is keeping pace with the difficult times of corona will emerge on the screen. Apart from Jaya Ahsan and Prosenjit, Rudranil Ghosh and Arun Mukherjee will play the other two characters in the film.
However, the fifth character is shrouded in mystery by the director.
It is learned that the director will finalize the script of the film on July 20 after discussing it with Prosenjit. On the other hand, Jaya Ahsan has agreed to act in the film from Bangladesh after hearing the story.
