Jaya Ahsan has returned to shooting for her home country once more starting with ‘Alatchakra’. The shooting of the film has started in Mymensingh from June 23.
The film got government grant in 2017-18 and is being directed by Habibur Rahman Habib.
The director had already voiced his wishes about taking Jaya Ahsan for this film. But, as there were uncertainty about the schedule, it was unclear whether Jaya would be able to work in the film or not. But recently, after all things checked out, Jaya Ahsan has started working for the film ‘Alatchkara’.
Regarding this director Habibur Rahman Habib says, “Jaya Ahsan has signed the contract to work in this film. From 23 June she has started shooting in Mymensingh.”
Through this film, Ahmed Rubel has stood in front of a camera after a long time. Until now the last film where he was seen as released in 2014. The title of the West Bengal film was ‘Parapar’ which gained both national and international praise.
Moreover, this is the first film being made in Bangladesh which is going to be three dimensional. On top of this the film is a biopic of the writer of the original book which is the basis of this film. According to the director this is the first ever 3D film being made in Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, Jaya Ahsan is equally busy in Kolkata shooting for her new film ‘Bini Sutoy’. Director Atanu Ghosh shared about the film on his social media.
Jaya is starring opposite to Ritu Chakraborty in the film. She will also give voice to a music title for the film.
