A 155-member full-fledged committee of the Jatiya Party’s Chattogram city unit was approved by the Chairman of Jatiya Party and deputy leader of opposition in Jatiya Sangsad Golam Mohammad Quader.
He approved the committee on Monday (October 30, 2023). The announcement of the committee came 16 days after the conference was held.
Earlier on October 14, the Chattogram city unit of Jatiya Party arranged a conference at the International Convention Center in Chattogram. Chairman of Jatiya Party GM Quader was present as the chief guest at the programme.
The counselor and delegates who came to the conference proposed the name of Alhaj Mohammad Solaiman Alam Sheth as the president, Alhaj Mohammad Eakub Hossain as the vice president and Alhaj Abu Zafor Mahmud Kamal as General Secretary of Chattogram city unit of the Jatiya Party.
