The touch of aesthetics throughout the town has added a different dimension to the development of Jashore Municipality. Over the last few years, besides the development of infrastructure, the beauty of the municipality area has also increased gradually.

Different species of trees, including flowers planted along the sidewalk have enhanced the beauty of the town. Even the sculptures have built at a few points make the image of the development of the town more aesthetic. Also the newly installed lamp posts and road lamps have illuminated the entire town.

Two aesthetic-style sculptures have recently been established at Zero Point, adjacent to the municipal office. One of them is the traditional date tree of Jashore. The other is ‘Allah’ written in Arabic letters on the opposite side. Besides, a sculpture of Sheikh Russell was also established on the four pillars of the city a year ago.

Meanwhile, the road has been beautified by installing modern themed lampposts along the road divisions of the town's once-named 'Banshhata' road. Apart from this, different species of trees have also been planted there. When the street lights on at night, a divine scene is created. The road then takes the form of a foreign developed town. Because of this, the road has been locally named 'Paris Road'.

As a result, the road becomes a center of civic entertainment since evening. Many of the townspeople go there to visit at night. They spend time sitting on the sidewalk. At the entrance of this road stands the sculpture of ‘Allah’ in a unique style. The sculpture is attracting the attention of beauty-loving religious people. It has been seen that the trend writing Allah in the shape of a tree is spreading.

The date tree sculpture has been built very close to the sculpture. The sculptures of three date trees are adorning the place. At night the street lights lit up the green leaves of the ‘date tree sculpture’.

On the other hand, Russell sculpture was built a year ago in the four pillars of the town. There is a beautiful sculpture of Sheikh Russell, the youngest son of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, with his hands on his waist in the middle of the four streets. To enhance the beauty of the sculpture, it has been kept in a glass box. Meanwhile, a variety of flowers and ornamental trees have been planted in the city's Circuit House area, Bhola Tank and Rail Road to enhance the beauty. Besides modern town structure, Jashore Municipal Authority is equally attentive to aesthetics.

And so in order to make the town more attractive, the organization has planted ornamental flowers and various types of trees at several points. These flowers and other trees have been planted in ‘box’ shaped tubs with tiles on Circuit House and Bhola Tank Road. Various species of flowers and beautiful trees have been planted in the road dividers.

Jashore Municipality Secretary Md. Ajmal Hossain said that for the beautification of the city, various local and foreign ornamental trees are being planted in the open space of various roads and sidewalks of the town. Such a plan has been taken to fill the brick and stone town with trees. The whole town will come under it in phases, he added.
