One of the injured of the Jashore fatal road accident died at a Singapore hospital on Monday morning, raising the death toll to four from the accident. KM Shahab Hridoy, 28, son of Abul Kashem of Loan Office Para in the district town, succumbed to his injuries around 8 am while undergoing treatment at Raffles Hospital, said victim’s uncle Mohabbat Hossain Tutul.
He was taken to Singapore for better treatment on January 24. The body will be brought back home on Tuesday afternoon, Tutul added.
Mentined, on January 17, three members of a family-- Tonima Yeasmin Piyasha,25, a medical student, Tanjila Yeasmin Easha,28,daughter of Yasin Ali of BCMC college area, their sister-in-law Afroja Tabassum Tithi, 26, wife of Monjur Hossain of RN area were killed and three others, including Hridoy, injured in a private car accident in the district town.
The accident damaged Hridoy’s spinal cord and lung badly.
The accident took place when the car hit an electric pole, leaving the trio dead on the spot.
