IWAMA Kiminori, Ambassador of Japan to Bangladesh, on Wednesday delivered a lecture titled “Contemporary Japan: Its Foreign Policy, Security and Development Strategy and Bangladesh-Japan Relations” at the National Defence College (NDC), Bangladesh.
In his lecture, Ambassador IWAMA explained the key points of Japan’s Foreign Policy such as Official Development Assistance (ODA) and Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP) and elaborated main features of Japan’s Defense Policy.
The Japanese Ambassador also mentioned the Japan-Bangladesh Strategic Partnership and described practical co-operations between two countries.
Around 90 course members, including those from 17 countries attended the lecture and discussed the bilateral relations between Japan and Bangladesh and other international issues.
