Japan will host ‘Business to Business’ (B2B) events in three major cities to promote and attract investment opportunities in Bangladesh. The initiative is being taken following the prime minister’s recent visit to Japan.
HAISON International, a renowned investor advisory firm from Bangladesh, in partnership with the Japan-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JBCCI), will organize the series of dynamic business-to-business (B2B) events across three key cities in Japan.
The events will take place in Fukuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo from May 22 to May 26, with the aim of promoting potential business collaborations between Bangladeshi and Japanese companies.
To ensure seamless coordination, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) ITPO Tokyo will provide local support in arranging these highly anticipated events.
Fourteen prominent Bangladeshi companies spanning various sectors, including engineering, construction, logistics, shipping, SEZ management, ICT Park, real estate and hospitality, health and beauty, machinery, tools, automobiles, consultancy, banking, and finance, will participate in the program. These companies are eager to explore mutually beneficial joint ventures and partnerships with Japanese firms, fostering growth and development on both sides.
Distinguished delegates will be in attendance, including the Director of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA), who will be deputed as the Bangladesh Delegate and Representative from JBCCI at UNIDO ITPO Tokyo.
During the events, the Director of BIDA will shed light on the current investment opportunities in Bangladesh, while a representative from HAISON International will provide insights into the business practices employed by Bangladeshi companies in comparison to their Japanese counterparts. Additionally, a Japanese investor who has already made successful investments in Bangladesh will share their invaluable experiences, offering firsthand knowledge to the attendees.
These B2B events mark the first interactive program between Bangladeshi companies and Japanese firms following the recent visit of Prime Minister to Japan. They represent a significant opportunity for companies from both nations to engage in face-to-face discussions and establish strategic alliances for future joint ventures.
The Bangladesh Embassy in Japan has pledged its unwavering support throughout the program, ensuring its smooth execution and fostering an environment conducive to fruitful collaborations.
Anticipation is running high, with an overwhelming number of Japanese companies already registering with UNIDO to participate in these events across Fukuoka, Osaka, and Tokyo. The strong interest and proactive participation from Japanese companies underscore the potential for extensive collaboration and investment opportunities between the two countries.
