Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi has written to his Bangladesh counterpart Dr AK Abdul Momen and assured Bangladesh of continuing its support to deal with Covid-19 pandemic.
The foreign ministry on Thursday said the Japanese Foreign Minister also expressed his commitment in improving bilateral relations between the countries in the message.
He also expressed deep sympathy to Dr Momen and wished speedy recovery of the Bangladesh Foreign Minister from Covid-19.
Dr Momen was tested Covid-19 positive recently. He is in good health at home isolation.
