Under the initiative and financing of the Jamuna Bank Foundation, free eye, dental, gynecological, diabetes and general medical services were organized at A. Majid High School in Begamganj in Noakhali.
Secretary of Bridges Division under the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry Mohammad Belayet Hossain was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Chairman of the Jamuna Bank Foundation and Executive Committee of the board Al-Haj Nur Mohammed presided over the program. Jamuna Bank Director Kanutosh Majumder, Managing Director & CEO of Jamuna Bank Limited Mirza Elias Uddin Ahmed were present as special guests in the program. Noakhali District commissioner Tanmay Das, District Superintendent of Police Md Alamgir Hossain, Chaumuhuni Government SA College Principal A.H.M Faruq have also been present as guest of honor. Local dignitaries and a large number of people were also present.
About 3240 patients were provided free medicine along with the treatment and 329 patients were selected for a free eye operation. Also, special medical care is provided to dental patients by an experienced doctor.
