The Dewanganj upazila administration has distributed bicycles, village police uniforms and blankets among the destitute among the village police in Dewanganj upazila of Jamalpur.
Bicycles, village police uniforms and blankets were distributed among 61 village policemen of 6 unions at Dewanganj Upazila Parishad premises on Thursday morning. Jamalpur-1 MP Alhaj Abul Kalam Azad was present as the chief guest at the distribution of bicycles, village police uniforms and blankets to the needy.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Kamrunnahar Shefar presided over the distribution of bicycles, village police uniforms and blankets to the needy. MP Alhaj Abul Kalam Azad said that it was not possible to celebrate the golden jubilee of independence as it was supposed to be due to Covid-19. Therefore, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has distributed bicycles, village police uniforms and blankets among the needy to increase the progress of work of village level village police through Upazila Parishad. Such programmes will be continued.
