Jamalpur District Awami League has held various programs on the occasion of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's homecoming day. On the occasion of the day, national and party flags were hoisted at Bakultala district Awami League party office on Tuesday, January 10, with the performance of the national anthem. Later, leaders of Awami League and affiliated organizations under the leadership of District Awami League General Secretary Bijan Kumar Chand laid wreaths at the mural of Bangabandhu installed in front of the party office.
Later, the leaders and activists of Awami League, Mahila Awami League, Jubo League, Chhatra League, Krishak League, Sramik League, Volunteer League, Youth Women League and other organizations and affiliated organizations paid their respects by placing wreaths at Bangabandhu's mural.
Jamalpur Municipal Awami League President Masum Reza Rahim, General Secretary and Municipal Mayor Mohammad Chanoar Hossain Chanus along with the leaders of Awami League's organs and affiliated organizations were present.
