Jamal Uddin wins ‘AmCham Frontline Journalism Award’

Economic Editor and Special Correspondent of daily Ittefaq, Jamal Uddin has been honored with the 'AmCham Frontline Journalism Award' for discharging professional responsibilities facing risks during the pandemic of Covid-19.

The award was formally announced in a function, held virtually on Sunday. 

Foreign Minister Dr. A K Abdul Momen, US Ambassador to Bangladesh, Erl Robert Miller, AmCham President Syed Ersha were present in the function among others.

Jamal Uddin was considered to be awarded for a report of him, published on daily Ittefaq over the negative impact of Covid-19 on the country's economy in August last year.

Earlier Jamal Uddin also achieved some prestigious awards that include 'ERF Best reporting Award', 'Dhaka Reporters Unity Best Reporting Award' and some other fellowships.

AmCham awarded some 25 Reporters and Photo Journalists from Print, Electronic and other categories.
