Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman exchanged Eid greetings with diplomats of various diplomatic missions in Dhaka on Saturday.
He exchanged greetings with them from 11 am to 12:30 pm at his official residence on Minto Road in the capital.
Earlier, he offered Eid-ul-Fitr prayers at around 8:00 am at the Monipur Girls’ High School ground adjacent to 60 Feet Road in Mirpur in the capital.

Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest religious festival for Muslims, is being celebrated across the country on Saturday with festivity and religious fervour.
The main congregation was held at the Jatiya Eidgah in the capital at 8:34 am.
Meanwhile, the country’s largest Eid congregation took place at Sholakia Eidgah in Kishoreganj amid tight security.
