The 36th Annual General Meeting for the financial year 2021-2022 of Jalalabad Gas Transmission and Distribution System Limited (JGTDSL), Sylhet was held on 20th October, 2022 at the Hotel Intercontinental, 1 Minto Road, Dhaka.
Chairman of the Board of Directors of JGTDSL and Chairman of Petrobangla Nazmul Ahsan presided over the meeting.The audited accounts of the company was also approved in the meeting.
The Shareholders and the Directors present in the meeting were informed that the Company earned a total of Tk 3,183.05 crore as revenue which included sales revenue of Tk 2,987.15 crore and other income of Tk 195.54 crore during the fiscal year 2021-2022.
The Company earned Tk 259.22 crore before tax profit and the company deposited a total of Tk 174.86 crore to the national exchequer as DSL, dividend, income tax and import duty which was Tk 166.88 crore in the preceding year.
Among others, Md. Mahbub Hossain, Senior Secretary of Energy and Mineral Resources Division, Additional Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries of Energy and Mineral Resources Division, Shareholders & Directors of JGTDSL, Managing Directors of the Companies under Petrobangla and high officials of JGTDSL were also present in the meeting.
