Jaipurhat district police have achieved top places in three categories of performance in a recent ranking.
As many as 67.68 per cent of the accused have been sentenced based on the charge sheet submitted to the court by the Jaipurhat district police which is the highest in the country.
Jaipurhat district police superintendent Mohammad Noore Alam, known as Warrant Master in Warrant Tamil, has won the first place in Warrant Tamil in all the three categories of GR, CR and sentence.
Also, Jaipurhat has kept the first place in the ‘C’ category in the Law and Order Development Index of Bangladesh.
Inspector General of Police Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun congratulated Jaipurhat district superintendent of police Mohammad Noore Alam for securing first place in Bangladesh in the quarterly conference held at Police headquarters.
Heads of all units of Bangladesh Police were present in the said conference under the chairmanship of the IGP.
Earlier, Bangladesh Police Inspector General Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun handed over a crest to Jaipurhat SP Mohammad Noore Alam as Jaipurhat police won the second place in drug recovery at the award distribution ceremony on the occasion of Police Week 2023. SP Noore Alam said that Jaipurhat police team is determined to deliver justice. In addition to proper supervision of case investigation proceedings, I also closely supervise the proper production of witnesses during judicial proceedings. And I supervise the arrest of the accused very seriously.
It is known that after joining Joypurhat as Superintendent of Police, Mohammad Noore Alam continued regular operations of the local police station and district intelligence agency DB team in different areas of the district, on important roads, with a zero tolerance policy against drugs.
