The Islamic University IT Society (IUITS) got a new committee on Tuesday with 31 executive members.
The new committee was approved by its advisors Professor Dr Mamunur Rahman of English department, Professor Dr Rehena Parvin of Law department, and Professor Dr Mostafizur Rahman of Folklore Studies department. The committee was formed for the next one year.
Sirazul Islam, a Master’s student of Computer Science and Engineering department, and Meherunnesa Islam Mou, a third-year student of Development Studies department were made president and secretary respectively the organization.
The other members of the committee are Sabbir Hasan, Rifat Hasan Arnob, Ahsan Habib Riad and Faria Islam as vice-president, Sami Al Sad Aon and Johurul Islam as joint secretary, Fahbiha Asmin, Rafayel Ahmed, Nowsin Summa, Basudeb Mondoal as organizing secretary, Astik Roy as office secretary, Aminul Islam as treasurer, and 17 members as others positions.
