The Islamic University Career Club (IUCC) celebrated its 3rd founding anniversary and formed a new committee on Tuesday. A press release was issued in this regard signed by the IUCC president and secretary.
The anniversary was held at Bir Shrestha Hamidur Rahman auditorium corridor around 11:00am and the newly formed committee for 2022-23 sessions was disclosed there.
Rony Saha of the Marketing department under the 2018-19 session and Musaddiqur Rahman Fahim of the Human Resource Management department under the 2019-20 session were selected as president and secretary respectively of IUCC. Azaharul Islam, Mutasim Billah Riyad, Abdullah Al-Noman Sukanta Das as vice-president, Pollob Ahmed Siam, and Shihab Uddin as joint secretaries were selected.
The other members of the newly formed committee are- Samiha Khan Chowdhury as organizational secretary, K A Siam as office secretary, Tokey Wasif as a deputy office secretary, Reaz Hasan Robin as treasurer, Mahfuzur Rahman as assistant treasurer, Tanjia Ahmed Labonno as communication lead, Juel Rana as head of media and public relation, Saifur Rahman as deputy head of media and PR, Sazzad Hossain as head of IT and Design, Inamul Haque as head of entrepreneurship, Emon Shahriar as head of research, Salafi Ahmed as head of higher study wing, Din Islam as BCS wing, Alpona Ahmed as head of the human resource, Hasibur Rhaman as deputy head of HR, Razia Sultana Hridi as head of content writing and Faria Akter Jame as head of event management. The new committee was formed for next year.
Marking the founding anniversary a colorful rally was brought out in the morning in front of the auditorium and ended at the same place after parading the main roads on the campus.
Later, a discussion program, cake cutting, quiz competition, and freshers' and farewell ceremonies were held at the TSCC corridor.
University press club president Abu Huraira addressed the event as chief guest while IUCC former president Farzana Islam was in the chair. IU press club vice-president Rumi Noman, IUCC founding president Ashikur Rahman and Aikko Mancha president Yeasirul Kabir Sourov were present as special guests. IUCC's former secretary Azaharul Islam delivered a welcome speech while Tanzia Ahmed Labonno conducted the event.
