The teachers and students of marketing department of Islamic university (IU) in Kushtia stood beside its two sick students by giving Tk 1 lakh 31 thousand for the treatment of Cancer and Dengue separately on Monday.
Prof Dr M Zakaria Rahman, chairman of the department handed the donation check to Imran’s father in association with welfare association of the department around 1:00pm.
Sheikh Shobur Ali, father of Imaran Hossain, a fourth year student of the department received Tk1 lakh 27 thousand from the department for his wife’s treatment.
Morjina Begum, mother of Imran Hossain has been suffering from cancer from the last month. Her family members failed to bear her treatment’s money as their family condition was not so good. Chairman of IU Marketing department, Prof Dr M Zakaria Rahman confirmed they had given the money to Morjina’s family.
