Although all educational institutions in the country are closed due to corona infection, the authorities of Islamic University (IU) are taking the examinations of different academic years including Honors and Masters of different departments of the university as per the guidelines of UGC and the decision of the Academic Council of Islamic University.
On Saturday morning, IU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Sheikh Abdus Salam paid a surprise visit to the examination hall of the Law Department. During the inspection of the examination hall, the Vice-Chancellor expressed satisfaction over the examination environment stated a press release issued by IU on Saturday.
At the end of the visit, the vice-chancellor held a meeting with the teachers of the law department at the office of the law department chairperson. At this time, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Prof. Halima Khatun, Proctor Prof. Md. Jahangir Hossain, Chairperson of the Department of Law Prof. Nurun Nahar and others were present.
Notably, examinations of all departments including Management, Al-Quran and Islamic Studies, Information and Communication Technology, Dawah and Islamic Studies, Finance and Banking, Accounting and Information Systems, Law, Arabic Language and Literature, Al-Fiqh and Legal Studies and Computer Science Department are ongoing.
