BSS, ISLAMIC UNIVERSITY, Kushtia: The Islamic University (IU) unit of Bangladesh Chhatra Union today announced a fresh 33-member executive body at the 19th council meeting, held in the Bangla Mancha area on the campus.
Nur Alam Siddique of Fine Arts department under 2019-20 academic session and Ahmad Galib of Accounting and Information System department under 2020-21 academic session were made president and general secretary respectively, said a press release.
Other office bearers are vice-presidents Mazidul Islam Ujjal, Imtiaz Ahmed Emon, Sumon Sheikh, Ahsan Habib Rana and Asifur Rahman, joint secretaries Monir Hossain, Hasibur Rahman and Tariqul Islam, organizing secretary Tahmid Hasan Sajib, treasurer Zinnat Maliyat Sima, office secretary Tanim Tanvir, education and research secretary Minhajur Rahman Mahim, publicity and publication secretary Rahat Hossain, cultural secretary Mohammad Sobuj, sports secretary Masud Rana, school student affairs secretary Md. Sobuj, and international affairs secretary Mazharul Islam.
Former president Mahmudul Hasan, Delwar Hossain, Obaidur Rahman Anas, Uday Debnath, Sadia Mahmud Mim, Jibon Sheikh, Sumon Sarkar, Shihab Hossain, Miraj Hasan, Saiful Islam and Sourav Abdul Alim are the executive members of the newly formed committee.
