After World Bank cut off their promised amount for the bridge then, the bridge has come so far with the national spirit of the entire nation that binds its people together in any adversity. This bridge highlights the spirit of freedom and that no dream is too big to achieve. The mass support has given us a tremendous strength in completing the bridge which has become a symbol of resilience and unity that the Bangalee nation has.
On the other hand, many backwater regions of the country will be benefitted by the added connectivity. Moreover, nearly 70,000 people have been rehabilitated.
