Although it is spring season, the essence of winter is yet to bid farewell. According to meteorological reports, it rained almost all over the country on Sunday.
The weather forecast suggests rain was experienced in all divisions of the country except Rangpur. The weather forecast also suggested that the cloudy or rainy weather condition may continue for the next two days.
However, according to the Meteorological Department, even if there is a continuation of drizzling, the night temperature will rise and the day temperature may decrease.
On Sunday morning, the lowest temperature in the country was 9.4 degrees Celsius at Tentulia in Panchagarh. The minimum temperature in Dhaka on Sunday was 15.4 degrees Celsius.
Meteorologist Abul Kalam told Bangladesh Post that till Monday, temporary strong gusts and rain may be experienced in some parts of Barisal and Chittagong divisions and in Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions. Elsewhere in the country, the weather will be mostly dry with partly cloudy skies.
He said, “There could be dense fog in some parts of the country in the early hours of the morning.”
The meteorologist further said the situation may improve after the next two days.
