Sutapa Mondol, girl from Satkhira, has become popular on Facebook through posting her music. She began her music journey through your hands. What is the reason for suddenly bringing her to the front lines?
Many people have told me on Facebook that a girl sings very well and if I would listen to her and many others have sent me her songs. I loved her voice after I listen to her music. Then I made a song for her within a day. The song was written by Kabir Bakul and the tune was given by me and Kishor rendered it. She came to Dhaka to render the song. I really liked some aspects of hers really interesting while rendering the song in the studio. It's not like the girl has learned a lot in the music field. There are some God-gifted things inside her. There are some classical issues in her tone, style of singing which is can be found after much practice. I'm surprised the girl sang the whole song in just two takes. There is enough talent in her. If we nurture her well, a good artiste can be found. The song will be released next Thursday from Songbhai Entertainment.
Many dream to sing with you and for many it doesn’t get fulfilled. But how do you feel about fulfilling a young teenage girl's dream?
Mu attitude was like this my whole life. Benson & Hedges began with kids through their first reality show in Bangladesh. Then, Closeup One, Serakantha and many more reality shows brought up good artistes. I am always trying to bring up new voices. We will leave at a certain time and gradually a vacuum will be created. So it is our responsibility to create new artistes. We have to create and ready the next generation. And if we fail, this failure is for everyone. In this twenty first century, newcomers have no choice but to preserve our culture and traditions.
A while back, I heard that you are not interested in working with newcomers. Is it true?
This is not true at all. I have said it in one way and it was expressed in another. I've said that I get frustrated with the output of some boys and girls. I have always been surrounded by new people and will be in the future.

Recently I am working on a new song about Bangabandhu. I have already given voice to the song, written by Ghazi Mazharul Anwar, directed by Manam Ahmed and tuned by Kishor. I also did one more song for the show Ityadi. I have some solo songs made as well and wish to release them soon.
Your songs are not heard in the movies for long. What is the reason?
I really like to sing for movies and really enjoy it. I enjoy singing in movies.
