Bangladesh women’s national football teams head coach Golam Rabbani Choton said that their big win against Turkmenistan in the AFC U-17 Women’s qualifying round is a result of hard working of the players for a long time.
Bangladesh, in a bid to make a room in the qualification phase of the AFC U-17 Women’s championship just crushed Turkmenistan by 6-0 in their first match and their main rivals would be the hosts Singapore, the other strong contenders.
The hosts Singapore likely to be the last but a stiff hurdle for Bangladesh women’s team to cross their way to book a room in the qualification round of the AFC age group women championship.
Bangladesh women made the flying start as it was an expectation from the disciples of the head coach Golam RabbaiChoton. After the half a dozen margin win over the Turkmenistan, they brightened their chance to be the group champions to move into the final qualifiers’ phase.
It’s very much predictable that the hosts Singapore will win their match against Turkmenistan and in this respect the hosts would be a strong hurdle for them to cross the preliminary round to move forward.
In the post-match press meet on Wednesday after the match in Singapore, coach Golam Rabbani Choton said that it was the result of the girls’ longtime experiences and hard work, as they have been playing together from Under-15 age group.
“In fact, it is a result of hard working and experiences of playing together for a long time, they have been playing since Under-15 and played Under-17 tournaments, they have been working hard and training hard every day and that is the secret of their success,” said Choton.
“It’s also a sign that the girls are developing day by day, their improvement graph is very much impressive but they are still young and gathering experiences,” Choton added.
Bangladesh team, who was drawn in the three-team Group D of the Asian pre-qualifiers with Turkmenistan and hosts Singapore, will face the hosts on April 30 at 6:pm(BST) at the same venue.
