Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited organized a discussion and doa programme observing the National Mourning Day and the 44th martyrdom anniversary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Islami Bank Tower on Wednesday.
Professor Dr. Qazi Shahidul Alam, director of the bank spoke at the programme as the chief guest. Md. Mahbub ul Alam, managing director and CEO of the bank presided over the programme, said a press release.
Professor Md. Kamal Uddin, Ph.D, Md. Joynal Abedin and Syed Abu Asad, Directors of the bank spoke as special guests. Mohammed Monirul Moula and Muhammad Qaisar Ali, additional managing directors also spoke at the programme.
Abu Reza Md. Yeahia, deputy managing director delivered welcome speech.
Mohammad Ali, JQM Habibullah, FCS, Taher Ahmed Chowdhury, Hasne Alam, Md. Abdul Jabbar, Md. Omar Faruk Khan and Md. Saleh Iqbal, deputy managing directors along with executives and employees of the bank attended the programme. Besides, 346 branches and 16 zonal offices also organized discussion observing the National Mourning Day.
