Ishwardi upazila administration has distributed hygiene equipment among journalists around the upazila. UNO Imrul Kayes on Thursday distributed the hygiene materials among journalists at ‘Saptahik Ishwardi’ office to fight against Covid-19 infection.
Hand sanitizers and masks were distributed during the programme. UNO Imrul Kayes handed over the equipment to the senior journalists Mostak Ahmed Kiran from Daily Bhorer Kagoj. At that time, discussion on development projects of Ishwardi upazila was conducted. UNO said that government is planning to implement major projects in Ishwardi upazila to develop the area. After the projects, Ishwardi upazila will become a modern city, he added.
