Tablet devices have been distributed among 258 students of 9th and 10th class of 43 educational institutions of Ishwardi Upazila as a gift of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina under Census-2021 project. Ishwardi Upazila Administration and Statistics Office organized this tab distribution ceremony at the upazila conference room on Monday morning.
Pabna-4 MP Nuruzzaman Biswas was present as the chief guest in the discussion meeting organized on this occasion. Upazila Chairman Naib Ali Biswas and Vice Chairman Abdus Salam Khan spoke as special guests.
Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Rahsin Kabir presided over the event. Statistics Officer Fazle Elahi gave a welcome speech. Upazila Secondary Education Officer Waheduzzaman, Assistant Statistics Officer Rabiul Islam and heads of educational institutions were present at this time.
Chief guest Nuruzzaman Biswas MP said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has started working to transform Bangladesh from digital to smart Bangladesh.
