Homkrishnajagyo of Jagannath Dev was observed at International Krisha Bhabnamrita Association (ISCON) Jhaenidah district unit temple at Bulu Mia Road at Chaklapara area in the town on Tuesday.
ISCON sources said they organised a prayer event seeking salvation of the country, as well as the globe from the global pandemic novel coronavirus.
Organisation head Tribhanga Mukunda Das said they have been conducting publicity activities and awareness programme about the ethics of Bhagwan Srikrishna around the globe.
Their most important objectives were serve for the global humanity irrespective of cast, creed and gender. Organisation vice president Ashutosh Majumder, members Durlav Balaram Das Brahmachary, Gopal Das and Tarun Munshi among the religious leaders were present during the prayer.
Huge fans of Bhagowan Srikrishna participated there, ISCON sources said.
