Bangladesh University of Professionals organised an inter-departmental cultural competition to celebrate Barsha Utsab 1430 and welcome the monsoon on the campus in Dhaka.
The cultural competitions were organised in six categories with the participation of BUP students. The six categories are recitation, self-composed poetry recitation, painting, wall magazine, photo story writing and story writing, according to a press release.
The competition started on Wednesday, and the final round and prize distribution were held on Thursday. The programmes were organised by the BUP Literature and Drama Club.
BUP vice-chancellor Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam was present as chief guest on the occasion.
Later, the in-house band conducted a delightful cultural programme under the auspices of the Literature and Drama Club to make the event memorable.
All faculty members, students and officials of the BUP were present on the occasion.
