International Mother’s Day 2023 was observed in Rajshahi today with the call for ensuring honour, love and dignity to all mothers.
To mark the day, the District administration and Department of Women Affairs jointly organized a discussion at the office conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner (DC).

DC Shamim Ahmed and Superintendent of Police Masud Hossain addressed the discussion as chief and special guests respectively with Deputy Director of department of women affairs Sobnam Shirin in the chair.
Joint Director of National Security Intelligence Sanwar Hossain, Civil Surgeon Dr Abu Sayeed Faruque, Additional District Magistrate Sabiha Sultana, Additional DC Kolyan Chowdhury and Deputy Director of Department of Narcotics Control Alamgir Hossain also spoke.
The discussants unanimously mentioned that there is no need of time and date for loving but the mothers deserve love and honour always.
Only the mothers love their kids without any intention and interest. So, the mothers should be kept above all.
