Sonali Life Insurance, Bangladesh’s fourth-generation life insurance company, has announced that its policyholders will now be able to access digital healthcare services alongside life insurance coverage.
The announcement was made by Rafiqul Islam, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Sonali Life, who said the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to offering customer-centric solutions through digital transformation.
On Monday, a bilateral agreement was signed between Sonali Life Insurance and Milvik Bangladesh, a leading telemedicine service provider, at Sonali Life’s head office in Dhaka. Rafiqul Islam signed the agreement on behalf of Sonali Life, while Md Shihab Uddin, Country Manager of Milvik Bangladesh, represented his organisation.
Also present at the signing ceremony were Sheikh Mohammad Daniel, Director of Sonali Life; Md Manzur Morshed, Chief Operating Officer; Hasib Reza, Chief Information Officer; Emdadul Haque Sahil, Additional Managing Director; along with Milvik’s Country Lead (Finance) Riaz Mostafa, Israt Mostafa, and other officials of both organisations.
Under the agreement, Sonali Life’s customers and employees will be able to access Milvik’s telemedicine services. In addition, Milvik will ensure swift and convenient delivery of Sonali Life’s insurance plans through its digital platform.
