Indian hospital to run in Bangladesh

Shalby Multi-Specialty Hospitals, a Gujarat-based Indian Hospital, is going to operate in Bangladesh soon for providing health services for Bangladeshi arthritis patients.

With 26-years of its experience, the hospital is going to set up their 12th unit in Bangladesh. 

A delegation of the hospital is now visiting Bangladesh and they have decided to launch the unit after completing a survey.

Disclosing this at a press conference at Jatiya Press Club on Tuesday, Dr. Bharat Gajjar, chief of the delegation, said that many Bangladeshi patients go to India for treatment where they face various troubles. Such patients also take treatment at Shalby hospitals in India.  

Taking into consideration the problems faced by Bangladeshi patients, the hospital authorities decided to reach healthcare services to the doorsteps of Bangladeshi patients at an affordable cost, he said.

Along with joint replacement, the hospital, established by world renowned joint replacement surgeon Dr. Vikram Shah, has also branched out to almost all specialties of healthcare domain.

Anita Roy, international business manager of the hospital, said a large number of Bangladeshis are suffering from knee pain problem. 

Taking it into consideration, the hospital has decided to launch health services for the Bangladeshi patients, she observed. Speaking at the event, the speakers sought cooperation of all concerned in this regard.
