Indian envoy visits Khulna genocide museum

Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh Riva Ganguli Das on Sunday visited Khulna Genocide Archive and Museum, reports BSS. 

The Indian envoy who led an Indian delegation went round different sections of the archive and museum, treasure troves of genocide, perpetrated by Pakistani occupation forces during the liberation struggle in 1971, said a museum press release tonight.

Riva also expressed satisfaction and gratitude to the Museum authorities for working relentlessly to collect different information, data and memories of the genocide.

Earlier, Dr Muntasir Mamun, president of Genocide Museum Trust, received Riva Das when she reached at the Museum premises,

Trustee members of the archive and museum Dr Chowdhury Shahid Quader and Shankar Kumer Mallik and High Commission officials also accompanied Riva during her visit.
