Indian Air Chief lays floral wreath at Shikha Anirban

Indian Air Chief Marshal Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria on Tuesday paid homage to the members of the armed forces who were martyred during the War of Liberation in 1971 by placing floral wreath at Shikha Anirban in Dhaka Cantonment. Later he signed visitor’s book there, said an ISPR press release. 

The Indian Air Chief is now visiting Bangladesh accepting the invitation of his Bangladesh counterpart Marshal Masihuzzaman Serniabat.

During his stay in Bangladesh, the Indian Air Chief will visit Army Headquarters, Air Headquarters, Defence Services Command and Staff College (DSCSC), Bangabandhu Memorial Museum, Liberation War Museum, Saint Martin Island, BAF Zahurul Haque Base and BAF Bir Sreshtho Matiur Rahman Base and other military and civil installations. 

The Indian Air Chief arrived in Bangladesh on Monday on a five-day official visit. It is expected that the visit the Indian Air Chief will play an important role for extending the sectors of cooperation and strengthening the existing relationship between the two countries.
