The Super 12 stage of the 2021 T20 World Cup comes to a close on Monday evening with India and Namibia going head to head at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium, Dubai. India thrashed Scotland in their last game on Friday, winning the match by 8 wickets and 13.3 overs remaining. Namibia have won one and lost three after qualifying for the second round for the first time.

India failed to make the semi-final stage this time around as New Zealand defeated Afghanistan on Sunday, which thrashed any hopes of the Indians to play in the semis. Irrespective of their position, India should be too strong for Namibia.

The Namibians have gained plenty of respect during the 2021 T20 World Cup. They will fight for every run with the bat and in the field but a victory in this match would be the biggest upset in the tournament.

Virat Kohli's men will look to finish on a high. After losing their first two matches, Team India beat Afghanistan and Scotland in an emphatic fashion to get the NRR soaring. However, India did not get a favour from Afghanistan to make it to the semis. Given New Zealand's pedigree, this already seemed a difficult ask. What India will want now is to finish strongly and get the boxes ticked. India will be backed to do well.
