The grand opening ceremony of the newly formed Portugal-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce was held in Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal on Wednesday.
Secretary General of Portugal-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce Abdul Ahad Salman delivered his welcome speech at the programme.
In the closing speech, the President of the Chamber Mohammad Jiban thanked everyone including the guests and urged all to continue their support.
Abdul Ahad Salman in his welcome speech said, "With great pride and gratitude, I am here at the opening ceremony of the Portugal-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce. It marks a significant milestone in strengthening economic, cultural and diplomatic ties between our two countries. We are especially honored by the Secretary of State's steadfast support and presence. Your vision and leadership inspire us for meaningful collaboration.
It is also our honor to welcome the Angolan diplomatic delegation. Your participation highlights the growing interconnectedness among Lusophone countries, fostering unity and shared prosperity.
He also said, "We are fortunate to have Stanisla Barros, Dean of Atlantida Institute, from the vibrant city of Luanda, Angola, at the event."
We hope that the diplomatic delegation of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce will join us to strengthen the bridge of cooperation between Brazil and Portugal, he added.
