Barishal Deputy Commissioner Jasim Uddin Haider said, "The revolution in agriculture, fisheries and animal resources has taken place only for Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. 10 innovative initiatives taken by the Prime Minister - (Women Empowerment, Shelter, Education Assistance, Palli Sanchay Bank, Digital Bangladesh Nirman, Community Clinic and Child Development, Investment Development, Environmental Protection, Social Security Program, Electricity for All).
“We have to work for the development of human health. We have to work not only for physical fitness but also for human health. We have to work together to prevent students from dropping out of school,” he said.
He was speaking as the chief guest at a day-long training workshop on upazila level on 10 innovative initiatives of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina organized by Babuganj Upazila Administration on Tuesday.
Upazila Parishad Chairman Kazi Imdadul Haque Dulal, Upazila Awami League General Secretary Mridha Muhammad Akter Uz Zaman Milon, Upazila Vice Chairman Iqbal Ahmed Azad, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Md. Mizanur spoke as special guests at the training workshop presided over by Upazila Executive Officer Md. Aminul Islam. Rahman, Bir Pratik Muktijoddha Rattan Ali Sharif, Chandpasha UP Chairman Mukti Joddha Delwar Hossain, Dehergati Union Parishad Chairman Mashiur Rahman, Jahangir Nagar Union Chairman Kamrul Ahsan Himu Khan, Madhabpasha UP Chairman Siddiqur Rahman and others.
More than 50 people including officers working in the upazila, heroic freedom fighters, police and journalist leaders participated in the training.
