The import and export activities will remain suspended for six days from Wednesday through Bhomra Land Port in Satkhira on the occasion of the Durga Puja. However, the movement of valid passport and visa holders will remain unaffected at the port during the vacation.
This information was confirmed through a letter from Indian Ghojadanga C&F Agent Cargo Welfare Association to Bhomra Land Port C&F Agent Association.
Bhomra Land Port C&F Agent Association ad hoc committee member Ahidul Islam and Coordinator Habibur Rahman Habib said the import and export activities will remain suspended for six days from October 9 to October 14 through Bhomra Land Port in Satkhira on the occasion of the Durga Puja. The decision was made by Indian Ghojadanga C&F Agent Cargo Welfare Association.
So, the import and export activities will remain suspended for six days at a stretch through this port. The regular import and export activities will resume on October 15.
Bhomra Immigration Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Molla Nokibul Islam said although the import and export activities will remain suspended for six days from Wednesday through Bhomra Land Port, the movement of the passengers having valid passports and visas will remain normal at the port.
