Inspector General of Police Dr Benazir Ahmed inaugurated the North Halishahar Police Outpost and Mansurabad Police Lines Armory under Halishahar Police Station of Chattogram Metropolitan Police on Friday.
Benazir Ahmed hoped that the inauguration of the newly constructed police outpost would help improve the law and discipline in the area and make the access of police services to the locals easier and more dynamic.
After inaugurating the outpost, the IGP inspected the various development activities of Mansurabad Police Lines and planted a tree.
CMP Commissioner Saleh Mohammad Tanvir, Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration and Finance) Amena Begum, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime and Operations) SM Mostaq Ahmed Khan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Headquarters) Mohammad Amir Zafar and Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Mohammad Faruq Ul Haq along with other senior police officials were present.
