Rice and iftar items were distributed among 200 Imams and Muazzins of different villages under Porahati union in Jhenaidah Sadar upazila. Chairman of Porahati Uunion Parishad Shahidul Islam Hiron distributed the items on Thursday.
The sachets were containing rice, pulse, gram, vermicelli, date, molasses etc. The items were distributed maintaining the social distances where UNO Badruddoza Subho was also present, among others. A special prayer was also offered to make the country free from the Covid-19.
