The Islamic Foundation Bangladesh (IFB) in Jhenidah had buried a man of Kaliganj who had died of global pandemic covid 19 on Tuesday aftewrnoon. The man belongs to Helai village in the upazila.
IFB Jhenidah district deputy director Abdul Hamid Khan said the man died with corona virus symptoms at Kaliganj upazila health complex (UHC) at about 11am on Tuesday morning.
As per the guidelines of the deputy commissioner Saroj Kumar Nath and direct supervision of upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) Subarna Rani Saha, the burial activities was furnished by IFB field supervisor Maniruzzaman at a local grave yard at about 4.30 pm.
Mention may be made here that the foundation had so far buried a total of 14 persons died with corona symptoms or suspected to be infected with the havoc, Abdul Hamid Khan said.
