If there was rule of law, Hasina would have been defeated: Rizvi

BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi on Tuesday said that if there was rule of law, Hasina would have been defeated.

"If there was rule of law, Hasina would have been defeated...That's why she created police force comprising Jubo League and Chhatra League men," Rizvi said this while distributing gift items among flood-affected people on behalf of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and acting chairman Tarique Rahman on Bagra Eidgaon ground under Brahmanpara upazila in Cumilla. 

Rizvi also said the regime of the ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was similar to hell. That's why she fled the country in the wake of the Student-People movement. 

Cumilla district BNP member secretary and Brahmanpara upazila BNP President Hazi Jashim Uddin presided over the event.

Jatiotabadi Swechhasebak Dal president S.M Zilani and general secretary Razib Ahasan, Swechhasebak Dal Dhaka metropolitan south unit president A.A Jahir Uddin Tuhin and general secretary Shad Morshed Pappa, among others, were present at the event
