Under the ICT Division, the “Innovation Design and Entrepreneurship Academy (iDEA) project” of Bangladesh Computer Council celebrates Independence Day through Zoom Video Communicagtion system on Thursday.
"26th March" is our Independence Day. “March” is an important month of our national life. On March 26, the call for independence came through the speech of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the Ramna Race Course ground. It was accomplished through the armed struggle of To mark the Independence Day, different events are usually held throughout the country. But due to the outbreak of coronavirus worldwide, the government has canceled almost all of the events to celebrate the day.
As all have been asked to stay at home to halt the spread of coronavirus, many office activities are being through online platfrom. The iDEA project of the ICT Division completes the event successfully with all the project officials and startups through online around this Independence Day. The program, which began online with the national anthem, ends with a prayer.
Syed Mojibul Huq, Project Director (Additional Secretary) of iDEA Project presided over the online meeting. He said that all should work together to implement the dream of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation. The country is now going through a difficult time because of the Corona virus.
“Everyone, including businesspersons in the country, is worried now. Various measures are being taken from the government. We hope that everyone will be relieved of this danger soon. At this time, we all have to be by our side. We have to have the courage and need to be stronger mentally”, he added.
Deputy Director of iDEA Project Kazi Hosna Ara attended the event as well as representatives from startups including Meditor Health, Uparjon, journeymakerjobs.com, Fish Expert, Mona, Lazarus Robotics etc.
