The ICU bed along with 10 ventilators provided by the government to Chittagong General Hospital will be available to serve patients from next Monday. Chattogram Civil Surgeon Dr Sekh Fazle Rabbi informed this on Friday.
He said, "We hope that the ICU bed with ventilators provided by the government will start operating from next Monday. Besides, we can provide ICU services from Park View Hospital in Chattogram”.
Corona test labs will also be opened in Chittagong Medical College Hospital within the next few days. This will make it possible to test more samples. Corona detection tests started in the port city since March 26. So far, 33 people have been diagnosed with the corona virus in Chattogram.
